Unsent post card
dated 1924

Special thanks to Barbara Heutchy for sharing this post card with all of us.

According to Pat Lemoine, "The post card of the Hackettstown High School was actually the grammar and high school building.  The high school was on the top floor and a few classes were in the basement, as were the gym and lunchroom.

"Kindergarten thru 8th were on the first floor.  The high school was the regional school for students from Mansfield Twp, Washington Twp.,Independence Twp and Allamuchy.  The building now serves as the middle school.  The new high school was built in 1959 and my class was the first graduating class in 1960."
